In the south we mature faster, I think it's the heat.

Im sorry but Idont believe those people are autistic. I think they are writers looking for attention and feedback on what they have to say, and most of what they have to say focuses on their own accomplishments. Autistic people do not have it together career wise and socially, in my opinion. My autistic coworker just ate a pancake with his hands in the breakroom. He is one of my peers, not the self proclaimed CEO of some company.

whose f****n posts have you been reading? LOL
i'd love to know the twisted thought process that led to you believing this.

I've eaten pancakes with my hand, too. I've been known to eat rice with my hands, too.

I have had a clerical job for 38 years, and have never been promoted. I know the work very well; they just don't think I am "supervisory" material.

I spend most of my time alone when I'm not at work.

I howl and growl on the subways.

I didn't speak until I was 5 1/2 years old.

Eating pancakes with your hands? Better than using chopsticks, I think. I just settle for whatever method gets the stuff into my mouth asap. Sometimes I just chuck the food straight down the toilet... cut out the middle-man.

It really annoys me when people say, "You must be feeling _______ ".
They can't always tell by looking at me so they look at my situation and assume I must be feeling how they would be feeling in the circumstances.
Very rarely do I feel the way they think I should.
Then I start to second guess myself, like, is that how I should be feeling?
Is there a "correct" way to feel?
so I can be feeling ok and someone comes along and projects their feelings onto me and then I feel crap.
Thanks, people!

Hearing is the fastest human sense. A person can recognize a sound in as little as 0.05 seconds.

This used to be a popular therapy/psychology "trick" to connect with the patient. And I think it got institutionalized in the general population. It really sucks because of course we (I) hate being told this and in any case, they always get it wrong!!!Kept me confused for decades.

If there's a person I want to move out of the city It's the beggar, people should be able to walk in peace.
