Today is the sixth anniversary of the passing of France's Alain Mimoun, the 1956 Olympic Marathon champion at Melbourne. He lived to be 92, outliving his old rival, Emil Zatopek, by nearly thirteen years. (Interestingly, Mimoun's number in 1956 was 13, not unlucky for him).

Ukrainian figure skater Viktor Petrenko is 50 today!

My mom accused me earlier today of keeping secrets from her; with one example being where I go for my group therapy sessions.

It's none of her business, but one thing I don't want to do is lie to her. In fact, I might just stop going to group therapy sessions cold turkey even though IMO it's a dumb idea in itself.

My mom does not want me to find myself work nor does she want my sister to find herself work too.

Enjoy your summer holiday, Cecil!

I anticipate a good and busy summer, too.

An elephant's skin can be up to 1 inch thick but is so sensitive it can feel a fly landing on it.

I wonder if my friend's toe has dropped off yet.
We put bets on it a while ago but it hung on for longer than any of us expected.
It must be gone.
