Oh and I also have a tendency to dream that I am dreaming lol I will think I have woken from a dream and then in my other dream I will wake up for real.

I also have a tendency to dream of something that I know is going to end a certain way but I always seem to get woken up before the dream finishes the way I know it's supposed to finish (if that even makes sense). It's almost like I'm watching a movie in my head that I already know the ending to and someone or something wakes me up before the ending happens. :?

I think I've only dreamt of dreaming a handful of times at most. I wonder if that qualifies as some kinda semi-lucid dream?

I honestly don't understand how dreams work but I guess it could be considered that. I tend to dream up some very weird dreams but I also will have some normal dreams that I will think are reality until the moment I wake up. I will even have dreams where I'm actually aware of the fact that I am dreaming but I usually wake up the moment I realize this in the dream.

I was dreaming my GF and I were walking along the waterfront holding hands. As we stopped to look over the waterfront, we noticed someone approaching us. The person asked us if we were hungry and offered us PB&J sandwiches. At first, my GF and I were skeptical as to why this person was offering us snacks, but we took the PB&J sandwiches grudgingly. As we ate them, we noticed people {appearing to be of all things, reporters} approaching us and asking us questions. My GF and I began running away from the reporters who chased us and recording the chase on their cameras.

The dream then cut to the newsrooms of all the Portland media outlets where my GF and I managed to steal the footage. We then disposed of all the footage by throwing all the footage into the river.

Background Information: I live in the PST timezone which is 8 hours behind England, where I have relatives. One of them doesn't like pasta at all.

Dream:

I was living at my old house. My British relatives lived 5 minutes from me, but there was still an 8 hour time change between us. They came over for dinner one night and one of my British relatives made pasta, but had another meal for himself because he doesn't like pasta.

Not sure if you can tell me what this might mean, but, last night, and about a week, ago, I dreamed I was crossing the road with a friend, and, about halfway accross, I was unable to lift one of my feet. Neither of my feet were asleep/numb when I awoke, and, if I am correct, I awoke, soon after having the dream. Thanks in advance, for any ideas or knowledge you may have to offer.

i'm no expert, but dreamoods.com says:
Immobility
To dream that you are immobile signifies feelings of being trapped. Alternatively, it shows that you may be hindered in waking life, by rigidity/black and white thinking in your attitudes and decisions.
Paralyzed
To dream that you are paralyzed, reflects the current state of your body while you are dreaming. During the REM state of sleep, your body is really immobile and paralyzed. People report that they cannot run or hit, despite how hard they try.
Symbolically, dreaming that you are paralyzed or stuck in place means you are feeling helpless or pinned down in some aspects or circumstances of your waking life. You may feel unable to deal with a situation or change anything. Alternatively, the dream suggests that you are feeling emotionally paralyzed. You have difficulties expressing your feelings.
Road
To see a road in your dream refers to your sense of direction and how you are pursuing your goals. To be stuck in the middle would suggest that you may be fearful of your goals escaping you, or life passing you by, or of lost opportunities, in addition to fears of being run over by life [other cars]. It may reflect a "deer in the headlights" paralysis in the face of too many choices with strictly limited time horizons.
Walking
To dream that you are walking with ease signifies a slow, but steady progress toward your goals. You are moving through life in a confident manner. Consider your destination. To dream that you have difficulties walking indicates that you are reluctant and hesitant in proceeding forward in some situation. You may also be trying to distance yourself from certain life experiences. The difficulty in walking is a reflection of your current situation and the obstacles that you are experiencing.

Thank you for taking the time post all of that! Many of those details couldn't be closer to the truth, presently. Interesting.

I've had a lot of dreams involving malls and shopping lately. It's pretty awesome.
