Shooting video in the woods is harder than it seems, been out 2 times now and there is always a shadow from me or a trees, bad camera angle or camera being too close and it misses what i'm trying to shoot (Sun prevents me from previewing the video display) or some other crap can happen. Spent 15 minutes wading through snow to get to a good place with good light and it fscked up...again. Also, i should really get a Go-Pro.

At least i get plenty of air and exercise.

The controversial Disney film Song of the South would have a production budget in the range of $25-30 million if it was produced today.

Although many want a complete version of Song of the South to be released for home media, Disney has no plans for such a release citing the film's reputation as one of the most controversial films ever made.

I remember watching that movie in the 80s, i thought it was a beautiful Disney movie and even my parents loved it. Never knew it created so such controversy.

Since it was released in 1946, the film has been a subject of controversy; one reason being that the depiction of black people in the film is viewed as racist and offensive.

The government of North Korea uses a fax machine to send threats to the government of South Korea.

Despite having almost 200 pages of movies classified as "horror," Amazon Prime seems to have even fewer decent-looking horror movies than Netflix.

the sad sad story of the late great Jacqueline Dupre, cellist divine. she gave me a reason to listen to some of the classical cello repertoire. now if only somebody would play some jazz on that thing.

Whenever there is a hashtag trending on twitter about an important subject, someone will take the opportunity to try to market their products or spread word of their scripture using that hashtag

I also learned that the block function on twitter does not work on hashtag searches :P

Not to do anymore WP experiments on myself. Also to use the modern peace-sign instead of a swastika.

The World War Z sequel may not happen at all because of David Fincher (who will be directing the World War Z sequel) and Paramount Pictures (the studio that did World War Z) not having a good working relationship with each other.

Reason: Zodiac and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (both were directed by Fincher and distributed by Paramount Pictures) both flopped when released respectively in 2007 and 2008 despite good reviews.

That the popular belief that we accidentally swallow spiders in our sleep is just a myth. In fact, spiders try to stay away from the warm, gaping maws of large mammals.

Well, I was sure it wasn't really true, anyway. But so many people believe it is that good luck convincing them it isn't.

The FBI spent three years analyzing the song "Louie, Louie" to determine if it had obscene lyrics.

To stop myself whenever I find myself in a conflict.
