#2. "How Deep is your Love" makes you sense a different sort of synesthesia.

3 is my lie. Isabella is a soft silver colour despite being feminine. It has hints of very pale peach and fluttery sky blue. It has no pink at all even though it has a pink feeling (femininity). I wouldn't want a pink name.

1 is true
2 is true for pretty much all Bee Gees, but yes HDIYL is strictly light blue.

You should listen to "1941 New York Mining Disaster" (the words are not in the song). The first US hit by the Bee Gees in 1967.

They had haunting voices back then. Quite unique.

The Disco Bee Gees took away some of that "voice," though it's still there.

Do you like Girl Groups like the Shirelles?

I've nearly always had an aversion to female singers. Maybe it's because I'm scared of women? I think it's just that their voices aren't as compelling or strong as men's. Perhaps it's the genres (usually dance music?) Perhaps it's the pitch (I'm tone deaf, so can't describe). They often seem to be trying too hard. I do like These Boots are Made for Walking :), and Carly Simon and Rita Coolidge, plus the pub singer from Ally McBeal (I forget her name). Oh, and I always liked Olivia Newton John. I didn't like Janis Joplin. Everyone asks me about her.

Stage musicals usually have incredible female voices. Fantine (Les Mis) is outstanding in every recording I've heard.

I will listen to that song you listed.

1. I've lost something today, and I'm scurrying about to locate it.
2. I may have dropped in outdoors on a footpath last night with my dog :(
3. It's an important letter.

1. I really like "Baby Love" by the Supremes, from 1965

2. I really like "Met Him on a Sunday" by the Shirelles, from 1958

3. I really like "Gee" by the Crows, from 1953.

OK I stand corrected. I love Gloria Gaynor!! ! Forgive my oversight!! !! ! I WIll Survive is one of my anthems.
(Good memories of Palm Springs). 8) 8) 8)

Was she part of The Supremes? I like them, too!

- I didn't lose money, or a letter. But I must go look outdoors before it's too dark.

Your lie is 2.

Gloria Gaynor wasn't part of the Supremes.

My lie is #1. I like "Baby Love" okay----but it's really a generic song to me--and the Supremes a generic group.

I really like "I Met Him on a Sunday." I just get a "feeling" about that song.

I like "Gee," too. It's early rock-n-roll---and exhilarating.

The first record album I ever bought on my own was a Carpenter's Greatest Hits album.

The second contained samples from Laurel and Hardy.

I have to really work now----till about 7.

But:

1. I was flabbergasted that Karen Carpenter was such a great drummer, in addition to being a great singer.

2. The Captain and Tenille had some great hits. "Muskrat Love," "Love will keep us Together."

3. I liked the Rutles. They imitated the Beatles quite well.

I knew about her drumming!
I also liked Muskrat Love and Mr. Postman.

I need to go outside. Cheers.

I hope you found what you were looking for, Sweet Isabella.

The lie in the last bunch of truths and lies was: #3. The Rutles sucked at imitating the Beatles.

1. I lived near the corner of Seaman Avenue and Cumming Place in Upper Manhattan in the 1980s.

2. I lived on a street called Nixon Court in Brooklyn in the 1980s.

3. I lived on a street called Sterling Street in Brooklyn in the 1980s.

It’s an actual intersection....but you are correct. I’ve never lived there.

How are you?

There is also a place called Dyckman Street not too far from that intersection.

1. I lived in a place called Bayswater in the 1976.

2. I lived in a place called Flushing in the 1976.

3. I lived in a place called Waterview Street in 1976.
