Although, about the apes being sweet and innocent, that's one thing they're not. In fact chimps are very warlike and attack other groups to expand their own territory, it's spookily human actually.
yes i saw a documentary about some chimps that showed them in a very bad light and they were marauders and they chased baby monkeys (not apes but monkeys of a different species) through the trees and they tore them apart when they caught them.
at first they ate them, but after they were full, they continued to chase them and catch them and tear them apart, and they just threw them away.
i did think that particular group of chimps was not innocent. i was referring to the chimps i saw in your video who seemed very submissive, and when humans were hitting their heads, they did not react violently or defiantly, and i felt sorry for them and saw them as innocent.
i think most apes are innocent of mal-intent. i did not mean to say that all apes are sweet and innocent, but the ones in your video seemed to be to me.
i also do not think all humans are not innocent. i think most humans
are not innocent with few exceptions, and i think most apes
are innocent with few exceptions.
animals that are not as smart as apes i believe are almost entirely innocent because they follow instinct and not decision.
