That's a fantastic idea for hearing impaired people :roll:

About a week or so ago, our smoke alarms went off constantly at really inconvenient times, (didn't help that my parents were out of town, too).

Once they got back, we had to get all of them replaced.

It was a nightmare for me...

When I was in halls at uni, my room had an extra loud, extra flashing fire alarm because the girl who had stayed there the year before was hearing impaired. We used to have fire drills around 2am every month or so. It was hell 8O .

That sounds so much worse! D;

The past couple of days I've been up most of the night and slept in until 3 pm because I just got the MySims game last week for my computer. Why am I so addicted to games where you spend most of your time collecting things, the act of collecting is quite repetitive and boring, and what you collect is not usually worth the effort? The Sims, MySims, Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon... oh well. :roll:

I need to be up by 11 am tomorrow because my mother and I are going out for lunch. I'm worried I won't be able to get up at that time even if I don't play the game, take my meds and go to bed much earlier, and set my alarm. And even if my alarm wakes me up I'll be half-dead and won't be able to enjoy our lunch together. :(

I HAZ A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION

So, my mom said that I could just get a new DS since mine just completely quit. All my games are fine, the DS just won't even turn on, and I diddn't even do anything to it! You know me, I'm very careful with my devices, none of them ever cracked a screen. So: which DS should I get? The pokemon 20th anneversary edition with Charizard on it, the Pikachu one that's sutch a bright shade of yellow that your eyes could burn out just by looking at it (hey, at least people would recognize it as Pikachu!) the blue one with Xerneas and Yveltal on it, the black one with Solgaleo and Lunala on it, or the pink one with Sylveon on it? (Sylveon is my avatar, BTW. Actually, I'm not even sure if the Sylveon one even exists.) Which one do you think I should get??

I am not obese. but I am asymetrical and lumpy in my old age. my experience has been that gym work only made me lumpier and more asymetrical. I don't have the symmetry genes. that is what happens when one has a bent spine and warped hip geometry and one leg an inch longer than the other. I was made on a Friday afternoon at quitting time by impatient factory workers who [when they ran outta regular parts] tried to finish assembling me out of castoff leftover parts from the reject bin, and finally ran outta time and threw me down incomplete and yelled "quittin' time! let's get the hell outta here!" :alien:
