*sigh* maybe trying to learn two cards at once is frusterating me? I'll stick with just the tarot cards for now ob. They're the easiest to figure out...

.. May I know what your idea of spirituality is?

I have no idea. I've spent the last 29 years of my life trying to figure that out... :|

Sometimes I feel like life is utterly meaningless and only the most cruel and calculating people come out on top while the rest of us sheeple are forced to suffer what really SHOULD BE their consequences.

Ahh, well, good luck.

Though.. My own idea of spirituality.. Is that in and itself is not an 'idea'. And it's underneath each and everyone's noses.
Everyone is doing spiritual practices one way or another many don't consciously do it. Some are just slower or took a longer path.
From what I know, awareness (not just mental and sensory awareness) is a necessary component -- as necessary as, say, literacy in success.
Spiritual practices isn't necessarily about prayers, charities, psychic senses, the happenings and the 'supernatural'. Those are tools, are but small bits of the bigger picture and more of a 'consequence' of experiences than the practices itself.

My own experience of spiritually, by closest translation on verbal terms, is that there is really nothing to understand. :|
There is nothing to own or deny. Nothing to believe or know. Nothing to count or chase. Nothing to change, add or remove. Nothing to feel or think about. Nothing to remember or look forward and worry soon after. Not even this post and everything.

It's just is. :skull: That's the closest verbal translation known to many.

My dad always hated my school pictures. He would make comments.

I really do sometimes wish that all this magic/psychic mumbo-jumbo was real.

I mean, who wouldn't want to know how their day, week, month, year or entire life was going to turn out just by flipping a few cards or looking at the leaves in the bottom of a teacup?

Or find out where Uncle Geoffrey hid all those silver coins he was supposed to have stolen just before he died?

Or whip up an exotic philter to attract that special someone who has been ignoring you since grade school?

Or even divide your soul into 7 hallowed items to assure that you would never know illness, possession or death?

But no, we live in a mundane world governed by physical laws that have all been well-defined, verified, and validated by repeated experiments all over the world -- you can't even send someone bad to the cornfield when you need them gone.

:(

Is it really weird that I actually take comfort in that kind of thing?

Probably not.  I also take comfort in the certainty of science, but I also wish I had a talking cat.

Just imagine the body as a very advanced tech.
But the users had no idea how to make it do different things other than the basics and moving point A to B.
And it's poorly maintained too obviously, flooded with ads and viruses.

Yet they could've sworn some things are detectable by some people, or some people can only have certain apps and specs, as much as they wanna see and have it.
Little do they know, they have it too or conclude they're delusional and it's unreal or only 'special people' gets 'special perception'.

And when the user finds a manual, they didn't knew it's a manual nor able to make sense of the manual and make a even bigger fool of themselves with it.
The most popular manual is the Bible. And too many people made fool of themselves with it.
