The new TV adaptation of the original His Dark Materials trilogy is really good, and actually properly mirrors the novels, which is rare. Only on first novel still, and about a quarter of the way in

Whenever I meet with an employer for potential employment, my mom always expects the employer to hire me on-the-spot. Even though I have told her that it is unrealistic, she doesn't believe me.

Saw a crow eating a toad in a way that avoided the poison glands. He's been hanging around, and I've been seeing toad heads lying around; I guess I know the culprit now. Smart birds.

He shall be named Reaper.
