It's really annoying to have to shower so often. I can go two or three days without before my hair starts looking like it needs to be washed, much longer than that before I get stinky if I maintain other hygiene practices like using deodorant and changing clothes, and it still seems way too often.

i didn't know u had a sister who was non verbal and asd!! !! i truly believe in the genetic component! it's unfortunate that when growing up they weren't as aware of verbal ppl with ASD or females. and diagnosis and help didnt occur.

my verbal ASD kid is soooo asd but in a 'can pass as NT because intelligent and social and not as severely affected' but it totally affects his life.

but since he has Diagnosis and i attended seminars and workshops for him (even though i attended others for the other, those werent helpful since surprisingly there is little help for the most severe ASD kids or their parents!! !!)
and hi s teachers at daycare know, they are all more accommodating and caring and dont berate him in the same way as they would have done a non-diagnosed kid. since they know it's part of him.

it's good though that people who were diagnoses as adults can speak about all the bad stuff that happened (most of which they probably dont even remember or know) from misunderstandings and stuff. why..because that is adding to the knowledge base for professionals and parents.. that's what a diagnostician lady told me... she wanted me to tell her about the bad stuff so she would know the value of an early diagnosis

edit- i think my non verbal asd kid who has many issues is actually more intelligent than his brother,
more socially intelligent especially..

just delayed and disabled. i mean that he was born more intelligent. but just blocked off by a big brick wall placed all around him that blocks his inner world from most people. unless they actually care to know him.

Put 'em in the hospital and give 'em a poison IV

Thank you veery much for your excellent feedback . Albeit naive . My sister and i were pretty intelligent . Her looks , gave No clue of her non verbal disposition
And it would not take much for me to believe she is /was smarter than me.
I had no idea what mirroring was till later on .she never got that .
It caused me much greif not knowing of it , for so long. The concept had escaped both of us. Defo agreed on genetics , perhaps genetics with a twist.

Am pretty sure your immune function is constantlly being stressed ..

A chronic infection in your blood most likely , ask to have your cortisol levels checked . You will need a specialty lab , to actually accurately diagnose your blood correctly .( Remember name of igenex lab in calif). Been there done that.

Someone in the family have affected my beliefs to the point where I might consider atheism, however I'm not naturalistic and believe that humans are the best species.

So I have lots of computer work to do AT the computer. And I have a list. And I start the morning with energy and knock one thing after the other off the list. Done! Hurray!

And then gradually my mind stops working. The list looks unimaginably large and intractable. I read through the list and it feels like I can do none of it. My mind shuts down and I am unable to remember what I am doing. I can be looking at the monitor, realize I need to look at something in my notes. I move my eyes from the monitor to the desk, and have already forgotten what I am looking for on the desk.

Guess I'll take a break.
