I had chicken and asparagus with egg noodles.

Here's how I prepared it:
1) I first cut the asparagus on the bias into bite sized pieces and boiled them in water for two minutes. I then drained the water cooled off the asparagus with cold water. Then I set this aside.
2) While the asparagus was boiling, I cut a chicken breast into bite sized pieces and mixed with a lemon-pepper seasoning. It's possible to add too much seasoning, but you need a good bit to make it worthwhile.
3) I then started the egg noodles cooking for 8 minutes. (Package says 6 minutes for al dente, but at my altitude, the boiling point of water is about 206 degrees and so it takes about 2 more minutes.). When done, I drained the egg noodles and then poured water over them to stop the cooking.
4) In a large stainless steel frying pan, I melted about a tablespoon of butter and then added the chicken and cooked until done.
5) I then added the asparagus and stir fried the chicken and asparagus together for a minute or two. After stir frying them together, I added more butter.
6) Once the butter was melted, I added the egg noodles and stir fried together making sure to get butter on every egg noodle and getting them warmed back up.
7) Then poured them into the plate.

My sister said that the reason that it works so well is that the lemon seasoning and the butter both go really well with chicken and asparagus. Also, egg noodles tend to be a bit dry, in my opinion, but by finishing them all off together, they get a good butter coating.
