I just had my head underneath a blanket I was using, and it seems that I (or possibly the blanket) smell like tomato sauce. I have no idea why that might be. I have not eaten tomato sauce of any kind in over a week. No one has used the blanket except me (I've been sick and staying in one spot with the same blankets, no one else wants to catch my germs off them). My deodorant is lavender-scented, I use Irish Spring soap, original Head and Shoulders shampoo, and mint-flavored toothpaste, we use some sort of "fresh" scented (or something like that) laundry detergent and unscented dryer sheets - nothing that one would expect could be mistaken for tomato sauce. I have never noticed a phantom tomato sauce smell before. Yet I put my head under the blanket and... tomato sauce.

That reminds me of a few days ago when I kept smelling a light mango scent from my sheets and my kids' heads. And no mangoes were eaten nor perfume of...

Later realized it was GMO clementines they were eating ... and they must have mixed a mango gene of some kind into it,
bcuz it literally smelled like a mango and had a hint of mango taste.

That actually reminds me of when ppl who were allergic to certain fish suddenly got allergic reactions from tomatoes. It turned out tomatoes were getting gene of fish mixed in as it made them last longer.

Not saying either type of mind is not useful for either situation

But NTs have too much of it going on and need to step back and see half the stuff they're tangled in n fighting over n being nasty over is unnecessary n easy to break from. They accept it too much as well as other patterns like arrogance n lying. Asd ppl usu are willing to look at things a different way if it's explained

Just like how ASD might need help with communication or exec functioning
