I really miss the old one.
Though he was scary as hell and lied to me 2 times at least....

At least his meanness and brutal way of stating things gotme some breathing room from XH. I guess being a jerk is necessary when dealing with jerks who don't follow the law...

I remember when I was little my father and his wife were brutal jerks to my mom and stepfather. Even now 30 years later and my father being in the end stages of dementia my step mother is so mean to my mom. Now she is being rude to my sister and me. We all decided we don't need this in our lives and so we don't talk to her. Some people don't change.

But your mom probably needed them to at different stages of your life so you could have a decent upbringing.

For about a year now (months n months )
My XH has been holding up my 7 going on 8 yr old kid's toilet training from pure selfishness ....though he doesn't have to lift a finger.. Therapist n nurses will do everything..but he refuses..
I got lawyer finally to write about it to his in a very nice way just requesting...

and XH? He messaged me and told me to file for court and 'end this once and for all' which makes no sense in context .. Probably something he heard on tv.

Elvis lived 15,561 days. On March 23rd, 2020, we reached the point when Elvis had been gone the same number of days. That's exactly 42 years, 7 months and 8 days. So from March 24 on, he has been gone longer than he was with us.

That's scary. I remember Elvis dying, and I thought of him as a bit ancient even then. So where on the timeline does that leave the likes of me now?

I remember it too. It was raining and my cousins were camped out in my house in sleeping bags. Wow. I feel old.

But I do recall that a couple of my favourite Elvis songs were recorded in his last years, namely I Just Can't Help Believing and Moody Blue.

his voice, that wonderful, mellifluous, honey-dripped southern drawl baritone of his, never left him until the grave.

There was an Oprah episode I saw where that Priscilla (I don't like her so I didn't say it respectfully) spoke of Elvis in the present tense

like she had asked him about something or his opinion on a recent matter.
I am sure there is a clip of her slip-up on Youtube

I like Jackie Wilson's songs more but Elvis' voice is exactly as you say 'honey-dripped' .

However I like Michael Jackson the most from all American celebrities.

Bing Crosby died the same year Elvis did. Has anyone reported Bing sightings?

i believe she believes in the hereafter and has indeed "spoken" with elvis via psychic medium. many celebs have this view.

if you want to do a spectral source subtraction without too much work, consider the latest version [7.2] of Acoustica, an audio editor and restoration platform.
