Can I go into rant mode? Okay, thanks!
You know how it's absolutely impossible to find a homeschooling curriculum that doesn't have some kind of Christian twist to it, that wasn't made by the same people who run normal school? Well, I was just doin' my school, like normal, completely unscheduled, as usual, and I decided to do a little science, and there was like, five questions, all pretaining to how you shouldn't put your faith in humanity. In science. I ended up showing it to mom, and she said I could skip it, but there was also a paragraph disproving evolution (of humans, not of Pokemon) That reminded me of that video on Youtube about how "POKEMON IS THE DEVIL" or something, but that video made me want to bash my head against a wall.
You shouldn't put your faith in humanity, you say, science book? The only four people I know IRL, my mom, my dad, my aunt, and my counselor, are all amazing people. Sure, they may have done some bad things, (all I need is one hand to count the bad things for each of them, but if all else fails, my mom loves me unconditionally, and I know I can count on her) Unlike most of humanity, I still have faith that somewhere in the world, there's something good to be found, and by the tastiness of ice cream, I will find it! My share of it, at least! And I know that there is something good to be found, for each and every one of you!
