It ends up in an even less authentic, perhaps an even more reckless and destructive route.

Why? Because I inconsistently lack in prerequisites. The prerequisites that expresses the balance and the wisdom to reconcile the self and other.
Only to find in my case; it might as well be hormonal than in character, personality or circumstance.
States that inconsistently allows and disallows discernment and adequate working memory to afford the reconcilement of self and other in real time.

Somewhere in my head already knows how -- for some reason, my body doesn't always allow the expression of said experience and knowledge.

It's like you swear you can perform complex acrobatics and handiwork, and everyone seen your skills.
But your body doesn't always allow that, little to do with practice and intent, more to do with how well you sleep. Then you're being clumsy, and people just judge you for that. Frustrating.
