The Great Blizzard of 1978. My parents actually went through the blizzard at the ages of 8 and 9 in Ohio. To give you a better picture of what it was like, here are some photos:

^ not the same gravity at all, but it still reminds me of something my father told me. When he was a kid and lived up north, he and his siblings would jump out from the 2nd story windows in winter because there was enough snow for it to be safe. When I was a kid I thought that sounded so cool!
