Sorry, just edited my last message. I think Identity's new avatar is an alpaca - those lovely creatures that are like cute little llamas and have long eyelashes.

Yes an alpaca, I wasn't quite sure what the difference was between an alpaca and a llama but like you say I think they are smaller. :)

They are, but people have started keeping them in the UK - makes a change from flocks of sheep :)

^I nearly used a sheep avatar actually!
Apparently they are originally from South America, they sometimes spit at each other and occasionally humans, they don't mind being petted but not grabbed, especially don't like their abdomens being touched. Gestation time is 11 months. They need to be kept in groups of three or more otherwise get stressed, their fleece can come in 22 colours :o Some can be house trained :P
