What do you suppose this symbolizes?

D you feel you are getting enough in life, like, getting by well and good?

Or do you suppose it symbolizes that you feel others are not leaving enough for you?

The last dream I can remember involved me in a bookstore of some sort. It was dimly lit, which was nice because I don't like harsh lighting, and there was a nice lady there with long, beautiful black hair. She brought me books to read. She seemed...motherly, but oddly enough, I couldn't see her face clearly.

I was watching some really strange cartoon show that was like a mix-up of Star Wars and Transformers with some live action thrown in. When the show ended they played what sounded like the music to that horrifying Viacom "V of Doom" logo. At first I tried to be funny and sing "IIIT'S THE VEEE OF DOOOOOOOOM!!" But at the "doom" part my voice came out in a raspy whisper. And instead of the V zooming up to the screen, it just showed a picture of a pony from MLP FiM crying. I started to cry, too. And then I woke up.

That was completely disturbing. I swear that Viacom logo music is going to haunt my dreams for the rest of my life. 8O

I dreamt I was back in the 70s, in some kind of restricted institution, in a repair shop behind a locked checkpoint door. it might have been a prison. the place was full of racks loaded with business equipment, especially IBM selectric typewriters that used to be commonplace. one prisoner with vivid red hair and a crazy expression and wearing an orange jumpsuit, got past a security checkpoint somehow, a security guard saw this and bolted, leaving us to the crazy man who caused havoc. I shouted "NO! COME BACK!" to no avail. he proceeded to terrorize the employees, grabbing one of them and tying him in a chair, then shorting out a selectric and tossing it in his lap, then plugging it in the wall socket and watching him get shocked, blue flashes of electricity burning his clothing, him screaming in pain before dying. then he unplugged it and grabbed a woman and tied her up and was about to do the same to her, then the dream segued into one where I was lying on a bed in a motel room, and some beautiful Latina woman with long black wavy hair and dark eyes joked with me awhile and then stripped and was making whoopee with me, then afterwards we went to the mall together. then the dream segued into me watching a movie where I saw some actor beating somebody up, then suddenly I was back in the motel room with the beautiful latina lady with the actor and his victim, the two men fought for a while then made up, then got dressed up in white linen suits as real estate agents with a tape measure, measured the room, then we all went outside and got into their tricked up 80s Cadillac and tooled around town, marveling at how they customized it with a hydraulic suspension and custom interior and all. then I awoke.

In last night's weird dream, I was pregnant, though I don't remember by whom. My pregnancy was all over the news for some reason, because someone blabbed it to the papers. I can't remember why my pregnancy was such a big deal to the media, I think there was some sort of reality show or something. I remember being angry at someone, and afraid of what would happen next.

Yesterday I had a dream where I accidentally knocked a whole bottle of some kind of orange-colored stuff in a spray bottle (I have some that is used for deodorizing garbage cans) into the toilet, and it vanished. Then the toilet flushed on its own, and water started gushing out of the TANK, but not out of the top, it poured out of the bottom like a waterfall and the bathroom was flooding rapidly. I started yelling for my mom and by the time she came the water was past my ankles and when I tried to tell her what happened but it was hard for her to understand how I clogged a toilet this way. Then I woke up.

When I was a kid and we first moved into our new house it seemed like I couldn't flush the toilet without it getting clogged and overflowing. But there was something wrong with the plumbing, we had to have the old toilet removed and replaced and other stuff. Maybe it was because I saw a picture of an Asian toilet and there was a sign that said most households in Japan have "western" toilets but they think the Asian ones are more sanitary. But someone else who had been to Japan said they really didn't agree on the Asian ones being more sanitary but their western toilets are nearly full to the brim with water and not just a little bit.

I don't know if my dreams ever included broken toilets or not, but I've definitely had dreams about machines with lives of their own, like the tape player that won't shut off, even while I hold part of the tape in my hand. Maybe you were thinking back to when you were a kid. I can't count the times I was admonished for clogging the toilet.
