cheeseburgers are good for bursts of energy, but they notoriously will not stick to one's ribs, instead preferring the spare tire.

brown rice, mixed with a few leftover crumbs/pieces from the bottom of a bag of organic sweet potato chips, mixed with tuna and marinara sauce and my sister's dressing soup.

...Hours ago, my hospital food meal was quite mild chili, sorta-garlic bread/Texas toast, some kiddieish fruit cocktail, plus I finished off this box of nacho flavored Cheezits (just a few) that I had.
There was a chili cook-off contest on the Boardwalk here in Santa Cruz this Saturday and I would have liked to have gone but couldn't and didn't :(.
