During the first worrld war in Australia, people with a German sounding name (even if they were born in Australia) were sent to detention centres, aka prison camps until the end of the war, lest they were German spies.

If I was a german spy I'd be smart enough to go by a non-german surname. Seems obvious tbh.

You can gain a clue towards the test of a humans measure, by judging their surname.

Surnames are deeply steeped in history.

If someone is walking around speaking English, they might visually look English or American, but if you look at their surname, you know who they are and where they are from and you can gain a lot of insight into a person from that information.

If a person has a German surname, it is 99.9% likely that they have some kind of binding tie to German history, whatever they might say for public relations purposes.

It is the same with a Russian person. They might be nice people if they are proletariat. But give them some political power and they start wearing communist attire and screaming communism, 9.9 times out of 10.

People who have English surnames and go under flags like communism are considered betrayers in war. They get shot in real wars.

I'm somewhat amused with having two "official" birth dates in that when I've had to tell people the birth certificate one I use (my "real" one according to my mother), it wouldn't have shown up as such on their computers and it would have been the other one (same month), but they still accepted it. :? It makes you question the accuracy of many a thing.

I'm two people, officially.

A really random moment of productivity.

By the time I've been washing dishes while doing laundry and cooking breakfast...

I somewhat gripped and lather the plate so hard, it slipped and flew behind me. Thankfully it's made of plastic.

Yep. Systems of record, are only as good as the people who manage them.

A system can be perfect, but if you have idiots running the show, then there will be chaos in any scenario.

I'm still trying to figure out how the original mistake happened, but I suppose I won't find that one. Both "official", both "approved", but one remembered by family which is the certificate one. Sorta too much effort to get it fixed for something that doesn't seem to cause any issues.

I have the same name with both though, so that's a good sign.

Addendum:

One of them lacks my middle name. So, technically not the same. Lol. Someone gained several days of age and a middle name. So, sorta two people there.

About to try a new tea next week.
Had it pre ordered.

The net says... It basically tastes like toothpaste or mouthwash. 8O And I would have to consume it warm...?

I mean... That doesn't sound as weird as tasting flowers.
But consuming something minty warm? Now that's just weird for me.

I wonder just how weird it'll really be once I try it for real.

My school has a program where students can put money to buy lunches on their account.

The minimum to do so is $50.
