Maybe this Tuesday, I'll pick something outlandish for my taste but is very nutritious and undoubtedly healthy lunch.

I just want to test something... About this strange change.

What we've got here is a failure to communicate.

If I was allergic to peanuts, I'd buy a 5lb bag of Reese's from Costco.

Had a nap for a few hours today. :? Also had one yesterday. Maybe just old (40 is old, leave me alone). That hasn't happened for some time. Sorta feel like I have a cold or sinus stuff. Funnily, my mother was having naps several days ago, but she doesn't do such either. Suspicious.

I kinda want to replace the Trail Master with something smaller and lighter for outdoors stuff as I really don't need to process wood, but still long enough to clear lantana in my way. The Kobun is a little too small for that (I've tried it and it doesn't really work at all). Budget is low. I think I'll go with the SK-5 Recon Tanto, which I can afford in a couple of weeks, and it's around the right size I'd like. It'll handle lantana and not be as cumbersome when I'm navigating boulders and rockfaces.

Online friendships are so strange. One Day you are pouring out your secrets to each other, the other day they are gone. Every relationship is so fragile, online ones even more so.

Life is fragile ^ ...nothing lasts forever.

Yeah, back to random things.

Oh yeah, Like me, I stumbled upon a story about these Mexican Cartel guys who were killed on camera. It was some weeks back. On youtube. I had to seek out the uncensored version. I thought "Do I really need to see this." Curiosity got the best of me. People saying it was disturbing, warning not to watch it. Okay, I watch the guy head being sawed off with the chainsaw. :| Oh... The the next guys gets decapitated also. By hand. Well, that was interesting. :| I guess at this point in my life, as an adult, I'm desensitized to these things. I've rarely watched anything of this nature. And still It does not affect me. I Know i must come off as some kinda psycho. I don't care. I have selective empathy, true. With Strangers. But I have compassionate feelings. So I know I'm not a complete hollow shell. Plus they were criminals. Maybe that lessened it. Or maybe it's deep seated misanthropic bias. I might react differently if it were innocents, or real life, real blood, real contact. It was just a video. Videos don't phase me.

Certainly somebody, some rich celebrity, being slapped is not gonna upset me LOL. :P

What if the essence of friendship coming to us is not contained within the skin, the mortal body, of particular, individual persons? What if it is sprinkled throughout people like fairy dust? It could be shared or rather dispersed to us in bits and pieces from a range of sources, including different people.

I have begun to understand the world in this way.

That for me, touching others’ souls/beings and being touched, are light touches, temporal. Staying open to that for others and from others.
