Sometimes I wonder if 1966 is my dark side, or if I'm moving forward.

I simply change it for I was looking for something to remind me of serenity that once was...50,000 years ago..

I'm feeling nostalgic about the Mick Avory era of The Kinks and 1965 is my good side, so I'll be using this image for a good part of the day. It's better if I post things like this in this thread only, get it out of my system and post about a variety of things for the rest of the day. Their songs from 1984 have that effect on me. That way, people won't be so eager to use the Ignore button on me.

I changed it since, I've seen the animated film in my avatar as well, I've often had to deal with with the various transgression within the Inferno one could say without being more specific..

Changed mine to an old piece of artwork I found featuring two women reading a book. I feel it reflects my latest interest in lesbian historical fiction.

I love erotic old paintings. The women in your photo look a trifle ugly though and it's a little difficult to make out all their features.

:lmao: You crack me up!

I think that round shapes in paintings are pleasing to my eyes, though it is a bit jarring to see the small heads on disproportionately huge bodies. I agree that it's difficult to make out their features, but you came blame the avatar size restrictions for that one.

Right now it's a scan of a 1910 German 20 Mark gold piece that I really like. I wish I could have made it bigger to show the details, but this forum has a stupid 16kB limit, and transparent PNGs are big. I'll probably change back to the "Rock and Rule" avatar eventually.

Anyone recognise this bird? She's totally freakin' out! :P

I had to use the blur tool in Gimp to censor her pointly nipples.
