You are obviously not the only one.

Good old high winds are apparently on their way. No doubt power will go out for enough time that the power company will send money as repentance because that tends to happen, along with the corresponding lack of running water. I'm sometimes lucky, though. No real bother as you kinda get used to living the old way very quickly. The world feels far bigger (which is probably how it's meant to be), especially without driving and living in a rural area. I guess I'll pay every bill today just in case.

50/50 on not minding it going out over a certain period in time, as I'm far more emotionally sensitive than I appear. :|

About 5°C this morning. It's almost as cold as it gets here. I'm trying not to use the heater.

The high winds are on time.

I dunno if she read it or not, but my mother brought up the "Training Day" stuff out of the blue today. Odd coincidence, but maybe just us talking about related things. Which I guess doesn't bother me too much outside of the betrayal (which bothers me a lot actually, but it's very specific), but I always find my way to the stuff that bothers me. I try to forget that stuff, which I often do, thankfully. Kinda takes away thoughts of hope I have. I always end up finding my way back to optimism as a fleeting flightless thought of formless hope will cross my mind.

I'm spending far too much time on WP again. Maybe time to throttle it back or leave again. There are other things I should be doing that are more important. :?

^ I'll attempt to draw a balance. Trouble is I tend to be all or nothing with everything. I'm terrible at time management and planning.

I miss George Carlin. I would love to hear what he would say about our current situation.
