I'm currently taking the violin piece "Paganini: Caprice No. 5" and working on transcribing it for guitar. I thought I already had bought a transcription until I recently found that it was about 43% incomplete.

I guess the guitarist that tried to transcribe it didn't know the guitar well enough despite claiming grandiose qualifications, but you can pull high octaves that aren't on the immediate frets of the neck by use of certain harmonics, yet he deemed about a minute of a two and one third minute piece as impossible because the notes were too high outside his perceived grasp -_-

Anyway, it's not particularly hard to understand... just arduous in effort as my sight reading abilities pretty much end with a ledger line above and two below the staff... and Paganini went all out with up to 9 or so ledger lines above, so there's a lot of counting lines, and my eyes tire easily. Though, I'm under no rush to finish, and it is an extra experience, so I shouldn't complain.

trying to get a DVD of mine [legaly owned hard type not a copy!] copied onto hard drive.
first,copied onto hard drive,playback was totaly screwed up,staff had a look and said it needed decrypting so had a look into a program that does that and finaly did it.
now am converting the decrypted stuff to a playable format via handbrake, no clue if it will work,fck sake, only just bought the dvd; hop [its a good cartoon x cross over into real life film with rabbits and chicks in it,and hank azaria who does homer from the simpsons and others is voice overing in it,and some woman from the big bang theory is physicaly in it] want to copy it to hard drive so am able to watch it and lend the dvd to the naughty little nieces of mine tomorow.
