It is raining here today. Our grass and the gardens really need it.

How I wish people get to distinguish the sharp contrast between cognitive empathy from affective empathy.

And tell the world that the former is more useful alone and do not require emotions, and that the latter is more useless alone and requires greater amount of executive function to not even be a burden itself.

nick007, yeah. That'd probably be evident in social interactions and would give others a view that there's a lack of empathy, but using thoughts rather than feelings to help in response to feelings is still empathy all the same.

I'm really dumb. Like, dumb as dumb can get. A rock will have it over me in a game of chess. The reason why it felt so cold last night was simply due to the fact I had my window open a little without realizing it. :| Open just enough so you can't feel the incoming cold air in the form of a breeze, but it's still incoming. How...not embarrassing, because that makes perfect sense for me. About the same temperature tonight, but it's not bad at all. Oh, I guess I can rule out anemia now (cognitive impairment, not so much).
I agree that it's still empathy but others tend to not interpret it that way. People tend to judge based on appearance & way others act. Lots of NTs do not really understand autism & how we really think. They judge us by NT standards & don't consider our social issues & motives when determining if we're an aHole or not :(

I'm pretty ret*d compared to NTs & other Aspies. I don't have any special skills, strengths, talents, & I kinda s#k with technology & other things us Aspiers are stereotyped to be good at. I also have most of the typical Aspie issues.

The school that I work at is so bad the principal, assistant principal, both secretaries, and numerous teachers, including both emotional support teachers (based on the logistics of my school, they are the most important staff members we have) are leaving. Next year is going to be crazy.

I keep more and more frequently getting a bubbling sensation in my chest, and now I'm worried that something is somehow wrong with my heart. :?

Comedy videos are fun to watch as long as the comedian in funny. It is so awkward when the jokes are not funny.

I enjoy listening to classic film directors interviews.

T - 7 days and counting. The first part of my trip I will be seeing actual, real people. Some I've never met in person. Some caring relatives, my mother's cousins' families - really good people. Some old friends I haven't seen in 30 years but still feel close to. I think I'm seeing 7 people in six days. I'm thrilled and also a bit overwhelmed. Ah, it'll be great. :D

On Monday my mother and I were driving to Walmart to get groceries when a seagull (or several seagulls, maybe) had a massive bowel movement all over the roof of the car. I could really hear the spattering, and some of it even got on the windows. Somebody must have been feeding prunes to those birds! :eew:

Really, where are you?

It's nice here today. I've got all my windows open.
