Kicked the littered cans on my side of the road and on my property across the road to the neighbors'. Their party, and the company one keeps keeps one company. I was nice and kicked them next to their bin. I do get annoyed by those that litter, and far more so when it comes to an area that's functionally wilderness. Maybe I should have been nicer and picked them up myself (if they're still there tomorrow, I will).

Random cheap computer paper doesn't really make good origami paper. It crumples along folds far too easily, especially when the folds taper down to a narrow point. I noticed this with two attempts of the same thing (my very first attempts, which...aren't too bad, I guess; one yesterday, one today). That's alright, though. It works.

Too many ants in the kitchen.
Not enough dishwashing liquid.
And the food cover is not being reliable with ants.

I'm having a wonderful time but I'd rather be whistling in the dark

I'm going to move everything into the smaller back room come the winter time. Then I can close the rest of the house off to save on heating.

It'll be more cosy and I can have a kind of living room come kitchen area if I like or I can keep the two rooms separate.

I'm really looking forward to it.

I plan to make a start on these changes at the end of September.

The cans were still there. :| I picked up the cans. That, along with several other things, is making me feel less guilty when they sometimes help me out, even if I pay them back for it all the same.
