When I opened a can with a can opener, I could see many tiny bits of the can material (some metal) get in the food in the can. I couldn't bring myself to eat it. It went straight to the bin. Or is that metal safe to eat?

I didn't have the evening to myself. I helped Barb with her feet and she made tea. I didn't mind. She's in her 70s now and I want to announce at her celebration of life that I'm glad I made time for her.
