One of my wisdom teeth is getting inflamed and hurts really bad. It's starting to make my entire jaw on that side ache.

^ Go to the dentist and have it fixed or removed. I had one go bad really quick and couldn't get a dentist to sort the problem and ended up in hospital and nearly died of sepsis.

Not looking forward to this evening. Random kids likely to knock on the door demanding sweets in trick or treat. I dislike people coming to the door at the best of times. In this neighbourhood you feel especially anxious as the "trick" might be a rock through your window.

Turn all your lights out and don't go to the door.
That's the message for "not participating".

I had to stop shelling out years ago:
- I have a phobia of doorbells.
- My dog goes nuts (he's scared of doorbells, children, and costumes).
- My cats could get outside, and my black cat could get hurt.

It's a shame because I love Halloween but I had to stop.
Years ago we had hundreds of kids.
Now the demographic changed and we barely get any, anyway.

I'll give it a go, only thing is I'm at a Zoom meeting most of this evening in the front room. So I'll just have to sit in the dark and turn the video camera off as folks wouldn't be able to see me anyway. I still half expect knocks at the front door though. Ignoring them could be problematic.

I took my little cousin trick-or-treating. I wore the chimpanzee mask that I got and my older cousin said that she couldn't take me seriously at all with it on. lmao

I also hate the fog machines and strobe lights that some people use. The "fog" made my asthma act up a bit, and the lights made me nauseous and gave me a headache.
