when i was tiny i'd entertain myself with glass ornaments by breaking them and i'd break out in laughter every time.

my mom, one holiday season then replaced them with plastic ornaments and then she was the one doing the laughing when i'd throw them on the floor and give quizzical looks, "huh?"

this is a nice memory, well of my parents at least.

I got nominated by my class as one of the candidates for "Most Likely to be Successful". It was a nice surprise as I thought they would have chosen the people who are not only dedicated in their academics and extracurriculars, but also very social. It might be based only on votes, but it's still nice to be recognized.

The contractor that didn?t arrive on Monday at 8am and couldn?t be contacted, because he was hung over, arrived early today, completed the job quickly and tidied up after himself.
