I might try to get my ears pierced soon.

What are you going for? plain studs, ball closure rings , smooth segmented rings, tunnels etc etc and what material?

I just wanted those earlobe-hugging rings. I don't really know what material. I've never had anything pierced so I'm just starting out basic AF. Though later on I might get blue huggy rings, because Link from Zelda has those in some games. lmao

The only advice I'd offer is to get it professionally done (and not with a gun). It's probably a good idea to get hypoallergenic jewellery if you have any allergies, like Surgical Steel, Platinum and PTFE (which comes in many colours)

Oh yeah, I was going to go to a tattoo & piercing place and get it done w/ a needle. I'm so scared of the needle though... lol

And yeah, I should be careful w/ the material because I have allergies and my skin is sensitive.

^ It's over really quick, so not much to be scared of unless you have sensitive parts done - septum piercing hurts like hell.

Have you ever had your ear cartilage pierced? I want that done on one of my ears next, if I get another piercing after this, or maybe a nose ring (nostril, not septum lol). I feel like those would hurt sooo much.

Yeah I had a helix but I did it myself, it's quite a loud pop going through the cartilage lol , it didn't heal well and was constantly painful so I took it out. Nostril isn't that painful but septum, oof, made my eyes water.

Ear cartilage is fine.
Nostril, however, is like being punched in the nose. I've had it done 4 or 5 times, and each time I forget how painful it is.
Septum was fine, should you ever change your mind. It's not cartilage, just membrane really.

ha ha, that's muddied the waters , now you'll never know the pain involved unless you have it done.

I went to the hospital this morning for my routine adhd check up and medication review. They weigh, check BP and measure my height.

I've got taller!

I just got off of a 10 hour shift (that I fully volunteered to do). My coworkers were looking at me like I was crazy when they left and I was still working after 9 hours. lmao

My kitty boy has been so cute lately. I might buy him a new mouse toy. He loves them. he puts them in his water bowl.

I had a helix too but it was nothing but trouble from day one so I took it out. The best cartllage piercing is a rook - its a bit painful to get done, but as its inside the ear it doesn't get irritated or infected like othets do, nor does it interfere with ear buds, helmets, hats, sunglasses or sleep like the freaking helix did.

I got into piercing around the same time as playing football which was not a great combination, something had to go and I chose football over keeping my facial piercings. I had a lip piercing (side labret) done after I hung my football boots up.
