My family and I feel bad for the large number of Target employees who be losing their jobs later this month.

It is my last shift of the week today. I think the campus will be quiet this weekend as it is our Thanksgiving.

I was just thinking according to demon lore, demons normally feed on human pain and suffering, so angels must feed on things like human joy and laughter. And then I thought that if that's true, the demons right now must all be morbidly obese from overfeeding while the angels are starving and practically skeletons with halos.

I don't mean to fat-shame or anything, it just struck me as darkly humorous as I now have an image of red cartoon devils being so heavy they can barely move due to their gluttony. Which is ironic, as gluttony is one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

If you think you can or you think you can't, you're probably right.

Today I found a spider in my bathtub. And it was a big one, too. So I caught him in an empty yogurt tub and released him outside. I couldn't help thinking how calmly and rationally I did this when a lot of other people would have been screaming in terror. It's okay, I don't live in Australia.

My random comment? The above is a tiny image which is intended to roughly match the background colour of this forum. I actually intended to say nothing. But it wouldn't accept continuous spaces.

The snag is that it’s an indoors spider so it will just get back inside your house almost immediately as they can’t survive outside ( apparently)
