Do something that you like, that relaxes you. What does relax you?

Reading, watching TV, puzzles, crosswords. Or going for a walk, unfortunately I struggle with summer and it’s going to be another hot day. So will stay in my air con.

I’m staying in as well. It’s going to be Netflix and tea for me today.

I think I've become the brainslug of WP. This thread should grind to a halt now that I've posted, and literally every member, even long time inactive ones are completely ignoring me.

It's a catch 22 that I've posted, and yet it hasn't been read. Since folks are going against my requests, I'll ask mods to not lock the thread.

Hello, I see you over there TT 8)

I have a soft spot for Ford Transit vans, not the newer ones though.

This is getting beyond serious now. My neighbour has now moved a brand new fridge freezer in. I can't be out done like this. I need to get onto Curry's electricals asap to see what I can get.

Re fridges, I am still rebelling against this 'temporary' set up which I've served time at for years now.

I have a pathetic fridge/freezer combo, with a door that doesn't close properly, and hence the motor just goes flat out all day. I've only remembered it now that Babybird has brought up fridges. It is due to the rubber being screwed, and being non-adhesive. Not sure whether I should replace it, or find something which can keep the door in place. I have no ideas about such whatsoever. I don't have a broad general knowledge, accompanied by an NT memory to make random suggestions to myself either.

The only item which may work would be a steel frame which would prevent the door from succumbing to pressure, and keep it shut firmly. But I am literally not interested in spending a cent. I'd prefer a cheap fix if possible.

Any suggestions?

Mildly disappointed. One of the websites I went on are charging about a third of the price of the fridge just for delivery and then another 25 quid on top of that for recycling the old machine and the other site is free delivery but no delivery in my area for the machines I am interested in. I can remember going through the same scenario the last time I got it into my head to by a new fridge.

I mean it's f*****g ridiculous really.

I've dealt with the same.

Does your boyfriend have a truck? It's usually easier to do it yourself.

Well my bf hasn't driven for a long time but my neighbour works at the tip so I do sometimes ask him to get rid of stuff for me. I'm not desperate for a new fridge but it would be nice. I'll maybe wait until the new year.

I don't want to be a tufted titmouse.

Just keep posting ...and your rank will go up...to some other flying creature.

Not that there is anything wrong with tufted titmice...or titmouses...or...whatever the plural is.

I know, that's why I was posting. But now that I see the picture I might have to stop posting.
