This didn't make me so much unhappy as it just kind of annoyed me, but I was just watching a top 10 list of worst places to live in video games, and the town in Animal Crossing was given honorable mention! They said they were serious, and then they showed a part where Tom Nook tells you you have to pay thousands of Bells on your latest renovation and claims it's "pocket change, really." Something tells me they haven't played that much of the game, or they wanted something actually surprising among the obvious, dark depressing places like Silent Hill or Raccoon City. I mean, Tom Nook lets you pay off the loan at your own pace, he's not going to kick you out or repossess your items if you don't pay him in a certain amount of time. And you make money easily enough by fishing and and digging up fossils. You don't have to worry about zombies, deadly diseases, killer robots, or even giant fire-breathing turtles, and the neighbors are (usually) pretty nice and easy to get along with. No, I think the towns in Animal Crossing have to be one of the best places to live. They failed hard.

I sorted felt a bit annoyed or down when a doctor started talking to me as if I was crazy or mentally handicapped the moment I mentioned I was on seroquel even though I just take it for sleep.

I'm starting to be really bothered by Healthcare providers behaviors towards me. For instance, I was having a colonoscopy done and when they asked if I was on any medications, and I mentioned my meds, despite telling him I was only on them for sleep, he asked me if I have ever been committed to a facility before. I am sorry but whether I have or not is completely irrelevant to a colonscopy and it is offensive to even ask me that.

Even after quickly doing some CBT in my head, I could find no reasonable explanation as how the fact of whether or not I have ever been committed to a psychiatric facility could ever under any circumstances be relevant to a colonscopy procedure.

"Why are you staring at me?"

"I'm thinking"

***massive emotional explosion***

And...somehow not being believed that "thinking" is a valid answer. Like I was staring to make him uncomfortable? I said I was thinking because I didn't want to tell him what I was thinking?

Is it only ASD people who stare while thinking, trying to compose the thought into a coherent and shareable sentence?

What do allists do in this situation, just blurt out random words and somehow they form a sentence without the composing thoughts?

I mean, I was aware that staring makes most allists uncomfortable. But my hubby has never expressed discomfort to the point of anger on account of me staring at him before. For all I could tell he used to be okay with it. Now he's made a rule against it.

One more rule on the five-mile list of things I'm not to do anymore because he doesn't like them. :( and he says he's the one who can't relax and be himself around me.

My boyfriend promised me that he would have a proper all-nighter with me (the type of which individuals stay up all night and then through the next day until falling asleep that night,) but he fell asleep around 3:00AM here (9:00AM there.) I know it's different for me staying up and him staying up because of the time zone difference, but he PROMISED. :-(

He actually did the same thing he did during a previous all-nighter, being that he said that he was going to go get a drink, and then he didn't come back until hours and hours later. He's not back yet this time. My last words were, "and please actually come back this time!!"

I am unhappy, and I can't go to sleep now if I get bored because I didn't take my Adderall earlier, so I took it late, being midnight, in convenient order to stay awake for the all-nighter. :-(

(If there is a response to me, PM me; I probably won't subscribe to this topic, considering the extreme popularity of it.)

^ Well, I'm glad you weren't. I sometimes worry that something like that might have happened to those WP members that have suddenly stopped posting.

Some overconfident incompetent people at work (including my boss), who produce sloppy/poor-quality work and still dare to criticize others. I can easily tolerate incompetence but I cannot tolerate incompetence+overconfidence.

Thanks for being glad I didn't die :)

What happened was it was dark and raining. I tried to drive into the lodge but in the place where I thought their drive-way was, it wasn't there. I drove fast because I wanted to get in front of the bus that was coming the other way but since there wasn't a drive-way where I thought it would be, there was instead a brick wall so I was side-ways on the wrong side of the road with a bus speeding towards and there wasn't enough distance for it to stop since it was set. I had to quickly drive up onto the footpath. There wasn't enough room for me to turn around so I had to park on the footpath diagonally so the bus could go past.

My husband has an ingrown toenail, and didn't tell me because he knew I'd be upset about his well-being. While we are doing the best we can to make it better, I am also concerned that he may need surgery for it, and I REALLY don't want it to happen. :(

At the end of the day I found out a co-worker had been suffering from a migraine all day, and yet she still got more work done today than I did :x
