Worrying that my old friend whom I just reconnected with on Facebook is going to think I'm a loser for not graduating high school and going to college like he did (even though it would be kind of out of character for him to judge me that way).

Worrying that my friendship with that same friend is going to go nowhere and I'll be back to having no friends in real life.

Last night, a friend drove his truck off a mountain road and over a 200-foot cliff. He did not survive. There were no skid-marks and he was not wearing a seat-belt.

He was going through a messy divorce. His wife had served the papers on Christmas Day.
