Problem is, how are we going to teach Sylkat with (a) her avatar, (b) images in general?

She has to be here first. Darkhour made her a small version of her avatar somewhere around here, which was really nice of them. Then all Sylkat has to do it save it to her computer.

I tried to explain pictures to her but I probably made it far too confusing, I'm not very good at that kind of thing.

I hope she knows that we miss her when she is gone. Sylkat, I sometimes think about you in real life and hope you are okay. You are one of my favourite people here.

The awesome mouse is doing something else
we're all pretty good complainers
not so much explainers
but spend a moment thinking about her dilemmas,
(for all we know she's constipated!)

Give her a moment to catch her breath
Give her a moment to think out loud
Give her a moment to concern herself
with herself...

...you know, something I have been thinking about...
ASD people make the WORST celebrities!

There's NO WAY I am Ever going to be anything else but a random poster on here!
Sylkat is not a celebrity
She is a human being with foibles and insights, just like you and me
I wouldn't be surprised if she left Because there's a thread called "I Love Sylcat"

Pendragon is a rather nice name, as well.

It's a suitable name for a small lizard.

Timmy is one of the nicest names I know of. If I ever get a tortoise, it will be named Timmy regardless of sex. Timmy suits a tortoise so well...

Yay, Sylkat is back, and so is her dormouse. Things are a little bit right-er in the world. 8)

@Skilpadde - I think Timmy is a great name for a tortoise.

An old-looking tortoise might be an 'Aristotle' or 'Aristophanes' or 'Agamemnon'.

Oooh, I'd go with Aristotle, myself.

That'd be an awesome name for a turtle.

Just don't name it "Aristurtle". No.

Give it the name of a well-know ancient figure, such as Socrates, Hippocrates, Plato, Thales etc.

Gerald Durrell once had a tortoise called Achilles, didn't he? (or was that the owl...)

The unfortunate tortoise who fell down the well while seeking strawberries...

Best not to call any tortoise Aeschylus either. You'll see why if you read the last paragraph or two of the section entitled Life in this article.....
