I finally figured out how to fix the hangup I was having with installing Gentoo. I just needed to make a /run/shm folder on my Gentoo install, and use mount --rbind to connect it to /run/shm folder on my Xubuntu install. :D

Also, my friend brought back some beer from a birthday party he went to, and let me have one. :D
