Where I'm from we say "Are Rouse" to mean "our house"

If it annoys me when people think they're ugly and I don't, why doesn't it bother me that I think myself stupid when I'm probably not?

I am having dinner with a good friend today.

A relatively cheap theater near my college will be showing Pan's Labyrnith in 35 MM this weekend.

I may go there just to relax.

Bullwinkle the Moose has a special talent, he can remember every single thing he's ever eaten in his whole life, even from when he was just a baby. Although all he really did eat as a baby was moose milk.

Why do I love giving gifts but hate receiving gifts? I think it's because I'm pickier about what I want so I have to choose it myself, but some people will get excited about almost anything.

I mean now I have to eat all this food. I'll feel guilty if I give it to someone else. Just send me some money and I'll buy it myself, dammit.

Caspar Milquetoast was a comic book character from the 1920s. He was a timid, meek little man and his last name is a pun on "milk toast", which is basically toast covered in a milk-based cream sauce that was once a popular food choice for small children and sick people, due to it being bland and easily digested. It also became a word for a "wimpy" type of person, but it became more popular when Caspar Milquetoast comics came out.

In one comic, Caspar introduces himself to another man, but incorrectly calls the man "Mr. Gleep". The man tells him his name is "Mr. Feep, F double E P, Feep." The large, cigar smoking man then gets Caspar Milquetoast's last name wrong. Several times. But Caspar is too timid to correct him, so he just shakes his hand and says "Goodbye, Mr. Feep." Mr. Feep says "Goodbye, Mr. Kiltlost, come again."

It's rumored that Casper The Friendly Ghost was partly named after Caspar Milquetoast, but there really isn't much evidence of that.
