ADD seems to make life pretty tiring. And boring. Distraction and boredom and depression have been linked. Here's a wee blog post I wrote on the subject last year. I may well have over egged the pudding. Meditation does help me a lot though.

It's the "executive" in ADHD, or an inability to execute a state of attention.
Come to think of it, when 'outside things', such as people phenomena, (and say you're on an outing out like camping out with family--
we go camping), work its way, or forces its way into you with a 'new attention.' The 'outside animation' works into your mind and breathes life into the soul.
The sad part of this is this 'inability to do this internally.' There has been some youtube posts recently on ADHD and this phenomenon- all enlightening.
I was hesitant to post this here, but all this discussion on 'meetings' spontaneously prompted me to pull the trigger and post it. I guess this could have been a decent thread topic.
