Cos after that the Jeep turns into a pumpkin.

I wonder if this is one of those eccentric things I say.

What's it called when the concept of 'meeting someone' does nothing for you? As a matter of fact it sounds like work. Apathy? Plain tired? Lived too long? The joy juice deprivation syndrome?

auntblabby, Moog, anyone? Everyone?

Explain.

If "Joy juice" is serotonin, then i believe that would be depression.

It could be dysthymia. I don't feel depressed, more like I've seen it all and lived 2 lifetimes and am eternally bored. It may be ADD, I don't know.

It may be middle age.

If i am not mistaken, dysthymia is a form of depression.

ADD seems to make life pretty tiring. And boring. Distraction and boredom and depression have been linked. Here's a wee blog post I wrote on the subject last year. I may well have over egged the pudding. Meditation does help me a lot though.

I think it also has implications about one's ability to enter and remain in a state of flow

That's it. Entirely it. ^

It's the "executive" in ADHD, or an inability to execute a state of attention.

Come to think of it, when 'outside things', such as people phenomena, (and say you're on an outing out like camping out with family-- we go camping), work its way, or forces its way into you with a 'new attention.' The 'outside animation' works into your mind and breathes life into the soul.

The sad part of this is this 'inability to do this internally.' There has been some youtube posts recently on ADHD and this phenomenon- all enlightening.

I was hesitant to post this here, but all this discussion on 'meetings' spontaneously prompted me to pull the trigger and post it. I guess this could have been a decent thread topic.

I would like to meet Moog
