I managed to fix the cable on my headphones! I paid like $40 for this pair, and I like how they sound, so I didn't want to let them go to waste. Usually when I try fixing headphone cables I give up because I either burn the wires too much, or I simply don't have the right equipment. It just so happens I had electrical tape, a nice Weller soldering iron, a knife with serrated grooves just the right size for stripping wires, and a bit of some good old lead solder, which may have been rosin core.

I'm back from the dentist. No cavities, and she told me my teeth and gums are in really good shape. Which is amazing since I think my teeth should be one big cavity by now because I only brush once a day. I tend to brush longer than most people, though.

It's how I like my winter. Very dark, mild temperatures, and cloudy.

This probably doesn't count as it was three days ago, but I got a life-size Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device replica for my birthday!

For Christmas I got an awesome knitted scarf, a Subway gift card, AND... tickets to a Marilyn Manson concert!! !! ! :D I'll be seeing it this spring with my uncle. This is so awesome. :D

I also reassembled the PS3 I had sitting in pieces in my room, and even though I haven't really been able to test it out, at least I now know it doesn't have the YLOD (yellow light of death; the PS3 equivalent of the 360's red ring). Hopefully I'll be able to find some cables for it and a controller.

I got some really nice things for Christmas and I didn't make any social mistakes at the family dinner tonight. It was the first time that it was my sister's family, mum, dad and I and I didn't make any social mistakes. :)

That makes up for the two little blunders I've made in 2009 and 2012. I remember sending my mum an e-Mail begging for her accepance and buying a Kinks magazine for $45 from Amazon because I felt it was taboo to ask for anything to do with my special interests in 2012. I've had a stifling upbringing when it came to special interests.

I got some games I'd been wanting for a long time for Christmas and love them.

I found out my old laptop still works and nostalgia'd/cringed over old writing pieces.

Also tomorrow (well, technically today now here as of three minutes ago) my aunt/uncle and one of my cousins are coming to visit us who we only see like once or twice a year.
