I'm sorry to hear that. I know how very painful that is.

Thank you.

Another thunderstorm. I'm beginning to feel like Dorothy here. This happened on Monday night. Me and Toto (Waldo) had to escape downstairs to shelter.

I never know what to say to something like this. I know what you're feeling. Just know that you gave your cat a very good friend and a good life and I'm sure it knew that it was loved. Any animal couldn't ask for anything more than that. I'm going to give Waldo a big hug right now.

Hearing yet another tale of woe regarding someone's breakup with her partner. This has been dragging on for months!. She should just be more like a man, cut her losses, and move on.

Everyone was talking about their elaborate 21st birthday parties that cost thousands of dollars with bands and DJs and open bars and getting "that wasted" and going to casinos and inviting hundreds of people and staying awake for three days and stuff. I didn't even know hundreds of people. Or even tens. I just sat quietly hoping no one would ask me about my 21st. It was a simple family affair in a church hall with no alcohol. The highlight of the evening was when Mum served the party pies.

FML :(

Coffee and hummus are not a good mix. :eew:

I'm also seeing ads for criminal defense attorneys. Guess they're on to me...

Nurseangela, please don't confuse me! That's a tornado, with the classic funnel shape and quite different from a thunderstorm? You and Waldo wouldn't need to seek shelter if it was a mere thunderstorm.

Since you mention Dorothy, I'm sure you meant to say tornado? :?

Thinking about having to go grocery shopping----and, I LOVE to go grocery shopping----BUT, I have to go to the "good grocery store", cuz I have to pay a bill, and get "the good chicken", and that takes 3 buses, and it's SOOOOO un-fun!!

People who seem to think that sleep disorders are a lifestyle choice.

Skyrocketing tobacco prices.

Running out of liquor.

...And accidental capsaicin exposure to organs that should never come in contact with capsaicin. :skull:
