I was in an exercise class with 70 year olds and had to give up after 15 minutes. I'm 38.

This has happened to me too. I listened to some music to block it out, but to be honest it did not help.

boyfriend said he'd come see me today. says that a lot. now i think he's probably not really my boyfriend... only comes about 25% of the time he says he will. I keep trying to explain to him that he can't tell me what he thinks I want to hear, but the truth... because nobody likes the dreaded meltdown. Either way, he keeps saying, "i'll see you today" and then doesn't text or show up. he has an hour to make good on what he told me. sad... pfffff. i know he loves me, he just drives me up the wall saying things like this.

:( i'd have to keep badgering my girlfriend in order to get her to see me, meet up anywhere or maybe go to her house. i absolutely hate having to constant poke people to get them to spend time with me, and then when i do, reluctantly.the lasyt time i saw her, at my graduation i didn't think it would be so tedious to see her again.
ah, she's busy. always busy. going to arizona soon, i don't know when she leaves. might spend her birthday there. it's coming up soon. she'll be 16. [WP, why do you think i'm 17 when i'm not? i'm 18!]

i just hope if i ask her again, it won't bug her. sky.

also i didn't get the job.

whatever...... i need to put myself out there more. i'm eightfuckingteen.

my woes are so many, that it's more a matter of what did NOT make me unhappy today.. it takes so little effort to think about everything that is wrong, and slip into a sadness..

but what is the most poignant of all of the sadnesses, is the fact that the one thing that i have an interest in, and might bring me happiness, i have no ability whatsoever at, so instead of the happiness, it just brings me more of the sad.

One of my teeth broke today, and now it's edge is really sharp and cutting my tongue. I'm going to see if I can get into a dentist and get it pulled tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to it because my teeth are terrible and I'm ashamed, and I'm scared of what the dentist will think.

I've slid into a depression where I just feel so down I can't motivate myself to do anything. I need to wash my hair, shower, go out and do my grocery shopping as there's nothing to eat and it's my normal weekly day to do so. But I just can't. I'm bumming around online wasting time and putting it all off. I just feel depressed and I don't want to do anything. I don't want to see anyone or be around people.

blue_bean, you may not have to get that tooth pulled. If it's still basically healthy it shouldn't need removed, because if you keep it, it could be fixed with an affordable resin bonding process.

About the sharp edge right now -- did you know that you can do a home-remedy fix on that using a cardboard emory board for fingernails? I wouldn't try a metal one, just those softer ones. You can very gently work it on the broken edge, but try to avoid the central core where your nerve is. It will soften the jagged edges until you can get to see a dentist about a permanent repair or solution.

Sorry to hear you feel like that Bird.

Any chance you can get a grocery delivery done? If you can afford it you could even think about getting pizza or spme other takeaway you enjoy delivered and do your groceries tomorrow.

Rest always makes me feel better, as does working on things I enjoy, such as playing online Scrabble, going for a short stroll, playing with the dog or making some nice cookies.

Hope you feel better soon; we all have days we don't feel up to things.

Aw, thanks for those kind words, enviro. Really, thank you.

I will be taking a short walk soon but it feels like a huge effort just to get ready to go out. I may take your advice on doing the grocery shopping tomorrow, though, and just ordering something tonight.

And I definitely need to do some nice activity that will lift me out of things; I might watch a movie I've got on my DVR that should be good. I think even having that shower will make me feel a bit better if I can force myself to just move.

Aw kraftie! I think if I could chat to you while going around the store it might be more fun to do, yes, lol! It's so boring an activity.

And when I said boring, I meant the shopping, not chatting with you! :D

I think chatting with you amid the fine wine and cheeses would be culturally stimulating.
