Just because a show or movie is "dark and edgy" does NOT mean that it's good. I am so sick of that mindset.

I agree, that can make it boring, and trying too hard to be realistic will make it unrealistically dark.

I also don't like how almost every show these days has to have at least one death per season (By that I mean one of the "Good" characters, as opposed to the villains, who people usually want to die). Killing off too many characters is making us all worry that our favourite character will be killed off next as the list grows smaller, and this is also unrealistic - Yes, people die in real life, but when it comes to the people we know, it's usually far less often than on TV, and the death is usually cased by accidents or diseases rather than being killed by another person. I just don't like how writers decide that in order to make their story "Good," they must kill off at least one character. Are there any good stories that are not aimed at little children where just about everyone lives by the end?

Exactly. A show can be more lighthearted and still be good. Being excessively dark does not equal a good show/movie. I myself don't care for dark and edgy shows/movies

A few other unpopular opinions:

-Bacon is nasty strips of dry, greasy pig flesh, it is not good at all. I'm tired of all this craze over bacon

-No one should be forced to fight a war (I have seen this topic pop up here) we all should have the right to say NO to getting involved in a war we did not want.

-The public school system is deeply flawed, it fails to recognize the individual, instead seeing everyone as identical. This is a problem I have almost never seen be addressed. I feel the same way about standardized tests. One size does NOT fit all.

I'd rather be happy than normal.

I have to agree, it's so over-played that it's become very boring to me. The other songs by that band need more acknowledgement.

Everyone hates having opinions shoved down their throat, like feminism or veganism, but if nobody tried to make others see their opinions we might never have done things like abolished slavery or given women the right to vote.

"Gluten-Free" should no longer be called "the new veganism."

That autism in some is truly caused by the mercury in the vaccinations.

Sometimes you don't know it is not a popular opinion until you... find out the hard way, LOL.

This is one of them. I told someone meat eaters should not eat meat unless the can kill and process an animal. Maybe then they could appreciate that it is done for THEM daily by a few people that do this all day long. Also if they can't, they should go vegetarian.

People went EWWWW on this. And of course asked me if I killed for meat which I have and which isn't a big deal for me. More EEWW as they munched on their ham.

My opinion makes sense, they only use emotion and refuse to see what they eat as something that was alive. Still my opinion sucks... huh?

Your opinion is your opinion, Frag and you have a right to it.

For the record, I am vegetarian.
