The office reeks of bleach. Reeks and reeks, soul penetrating.

Qantas made changes to my flight. That's annoying enough. Now I will have 90 minutes less time with my family on the day I leave. In addition to having to print the new details, I had to check my reserved seat because they sometimes change seats when they make changes to flights. However, their online booking management page wasn't working. I couldn't even check my seats. I had to wait for 50 minutes on hold to speak to a "customer service representative" or whatever by telephone. My evening was ruined. Qantas is a greedy second-class company that loves to test its customers' patience. I hate Qantas.

Waiting on a package from UPS. Can't do anything until the package arrives, so I'm just twiddling my thumbs. :(

It has occurred to me that when you have had a poor night's sleep and woken feeling like road kill on a day you need to buy groceries, the lineups will be twice as long and twice as slow.

I also saw a mouse running across the floor inside the store. :eew:

Well, I've gotten my home clean and the bird area ready for winter, mostly, and now I'm at a loss as to where I should place the fridge. I'm thinking I might not have it running but just use it as a food storage unit that field mice can't get into. I could keep the ingredients to spaghetti in there and so forth. Either way, figuring out where to put the darn thing has been somewhat annoying. Since Jackie left I've been sleeping on the futon couch, which is down by where the birds are and that helps when I need to resolve their squabbling when it occurs, and I've not had to worry about the roof leaking on me anymore. That's the only good thing about Jackie having left, not having to sleep on the side of the bed where the roof leaks or feeling obligated to sleep in the same bed when it's raining outside. I miss Jackie though and, as with every day since she left, I miss the good communication and friendship I thought we had for nearly seven years. It makes me sad every day that she hasn't communicated with me again and that we're not resolving our issues and being reconciled. It's not merely a non-committal relationship we had, but marriage. We vowed to spend our lives together through all times good and bad, and now I'm there for her and she's not there for me. That makes me sad. I love my Jackie.

This:

I am afraid of what would happen if they (North Korea) actually carry on with this plan. I don't want to die of radiation poisoning.

I know what you mean. Ever visited Europe and the hot spot of all air traffic, Frankfort airport? Two days waiting is possible. After one day they offer free drinks and a sleeping bag.

My younger cat knocked a box of pins onto the floor. I decided to just stick most of them into my pin cushion instead of putting them all back in their box, but there must have been at least 30 loose pins so it was pretty annoying.

Every now and then, I tend to leave empty bottles' corks on the floor. My cat finds them in the deep of night and starts to play with them and expects me to join. All I can say to her at the moment is something like Umm-mrgh-umm-mk.

Donald Trump is winning. Seriously, a chimpanzee can run this country better than this narcissist.

I won't be able to spend as much time with my Uncle today as I would like.
