red meat (i never buy it, but eat it if a friend serves it) and sweets (about once per week) are fine as occasional treats.

As usual I have been trying and failing to reduce or eliminate addiction to Reese's, twix, kit kat

Beef contains a lot of protein and iron

Today's beef tasted pretty clean and cut off the visible fat

A couple of years ago the phlebotomist told me that I was anemic

With the exception of salmon and chicken I do not like meat. And I do not crave meat either

But have to do something about anemia

Only eat about one to four servings of meat a week

Appetite gone haywire

Feel like gorging as usual

I am weak :ninja:

you ate spinach and its iron.

are you sure you're still anemic post-menopause? if you are, you need more tests. menstruaters are often anemic and otherwise healthy. the rest of us don't get anemic unless some health problem is going on.

Cathy Lynn

Spinach contains iron, but one serving does not provide enough iron for one day. According to the label

No I am not sure if I am anemic, but I am exhausted a lot

Physically weak, mentally slow. Not alert

:)

Getting so frustrated

Nutrition labels are not always correct

Vitamins and minerals do not make anything taste good

Sugar and fat make things taste good

Lately, a lot of the time I am eating something I ate a lot of times before and all of a sudden it tastes like sensory overload. Too sweet or greasy

Just this year, gave up:

Grapes, cherries, currants, granola, cereal, Mediterranean lentil salad, Epicurean tofu

Last year gave up:. Yams, potatoes, sushi

Food costs a lot of money

Precious lil "people" have the nerve to tell me, that what I ate is "healthy" or "not healthy" or "ew" or ",next time use a fork"

Entitled self important extroverts

Annoying

And I don't know how to cook

And I am just cooking for one.

Today ate two :ninja: joong :skull: (Chinese rice balls) delicious

Spinach, corn

Half pound salad bar:. Sesame tofu, collard greens, broccoli

Two apples

Orange

Two bananas

Focaccia

Yogurt

Peach

Three Hershey's nuggets

:ninja:

sounds yummy. and at the risk of being a "precious li'l person," sounds healthy. if i were your doctor, i'd want to know about the exhaustion sooner rather than later.
