The dentist gave me novacaine two hours ago to replace an old filling and now half my face is numb.

My plans not to feel depressed on my birthday failed.

I mooed at my guinea pigs. They were slightly terrified and/or not amused.

If I was a dictator I'd probably spend most of my time watching my flock through hidden cameras - watching them do crazy things in their panphobic madness brought on by my terror state. My observation is that people tend to be at their most entertaining when they are constantly afraid. Constant fear bring the animalistic aspects of the psyche to the surface - makes people costantly watch their backs as if they're in the forest keeping an eye out for predators. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessss - dance my puppets DANCE!! !

I wish the Olympics were still on TV, that was before the snowball effect took place, in my life, this year.

I find it ironic that my father used to shoot kangaroos for a living (ironically again, he used a .22 Magnum before they passed minimum caliber laws), which is something I'd do if I were living back out there.

I also find it ironic that he's the best shot I've seen besides myself.

He never spoke of these things to me, until later on in our relations, so it didn't contribute to how I am, i.e., nurture.

Like father, like son.

You're likely to have something in common with everyone; there's so many things that people do/resemble that it's just natural for things to overlap, including non-family members. Sharing a like of something (and the natural progression of being good at and using that) doesn't make you like someone at all; it's simply an overlap.
