My father was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD). My mom needs help caring for him and I'm not feeling mentally equipped to handle the situation right now. I haven't even called home in a week to check on him. I feel like the worst son in history.

Tediously popping DVDs in and out of my computer drive to see if they're single-layer or dual-layer and therefore bootleg or genuine. If a TV show set crams four one-hour episodes onto one disc and it's single-layer, it's probably a bootleg. Getting a bootleg TV set in the mail today has made me paranoid and wondering what other recent purchases are forgeries. From now on I'm buying from bigger stores only and no private eBay sellers, no matter how much more I have to pay.

My father has this as well. I also don't phone as much as I could. They live an hour away and I don't drive but it still makes me feel like a terrible son.

The peanut gallery at Google decided to make it a mobile site. I do not like the mobile site because 1. it violates my privacy by keeping track of my searches, and 2. it won't let me copy and paste pictures from Google Images anymore.

Also, WP is f***ing spazzing out on me again! :x

I am bitterly disappointed about my essay grade. I can't believe how poorly I did because normally my grades are something I can be proud of. This has injured my self-image to quite an extent.

Then again, I did limit myself by rushing at the last minute and falling considerably below the word count. I need to find that balance between quality and quantity.

My tablet has stopped working for no obvious reason. I'm especially unhappy about this because I shelled out money for a new cord and adapter for recharging and a 50 dollar Googleplay card. And now I've just discovered the TV set is not working either.

When I was a kid electronics were built to last. Now they break or need to be upgraded almost as soon as you get them. Even appliances like my refrigerator or the washing machine will be kaput in less than a decade, if I'm lucky. What a stupid world.

Everyone talks way too much. Talking, talking, talking. All day. No pauses, no commas. Just running off at the mouth all god damned day. How do they not go hoarse?

We can't afford a new water heater because we need a permit and a professional licensed plumber to do it, and then we find out that the bank seriously screwed up our automatic payments for a loan and now it's 2 months past due because they were putting the money meant for the loan somewhere else.

I read on the Facebook news that some guy on a plane, I think it was from Ireland, went berserk, bit some other guy, and then died. Naturally, everyone is saying it's the start of World War Z. I don't know if they're kidding or not, but what I do know is that this kind of thing *would* have to happen on a plane. Humans are not meant to fly. :(

Just when I think my OCD is getting better, I'm back in the bathroom washing my hands constantly.

Still no rain and none expected this week.
WP is still not fixed with bugs everywhere.
