The smell of a barbecue wafting through the warm summer air,
Cedar,
Orange,
Ginger,
Sandalwood,
My cat,
My sleepy smell,
Strawberries,
Baking bread,
Cannabis,
Onions,
Campfires,
Pesto.

I rub my fingers on metals and then sniff my fingers like glue as I sit and do other things.

I like other smells but this one is a special thing I do. Different metals smell different.
(keys, bracelets, coins, cutlery)

Freshly cut grass, roses, fresh bread, mens Fahrenheit aftershave, smell of the sugarbeet factory, scorched ground when it first rains, the milky/soapy smell of babies and the smell of the pages of new books.

I have a very faint sense of smell, so usually, if I can smell it, I'm interested. I can eat all kinds of repulsive food, I think because I can't usually smell it. When I catch the smell of wood burning, I like that a lot. I also like the smell of any flower I can catch. Hyacinth is so sweet - and jasmine.

Actually that's one of the most sane things I've heard, and makes much sense.

I know what you're talking about and yes, it's a very nice smell to wake up to and take a big whiff of morning goodies (and still hear the sound of the frying pan).

Two favourite ones: roasted coffee beans and cigarette smoke. I'm tempted to smoke - I love the smell of it, especially when it's lingering in the upholstry or cushions - but I know better than to do that. Though if anyone ever creates a cigarette smoke scented incense, I will so buy it.

Tea leaves (not herbal)
Coffee (before or after brewing)
Red bell peppers
Tomatoes on the vine
Sassafrass roots (smell like root beer, except not as cloying)
My compost heap (when it smells like rich soil like found in nature)
Many others mentioned above.
