These metallic tights...

I haven't seen those around here...yet. You can get black leather look ones, and ones in funny patterns (god awful colours though).

On a semi related note I bought my second pair of "jeggings" today :P

I own one too
they are very comfy!
Mine has working pockets unlike those silly ones that scream jeggings

What are some current fads that you strongly dislike? This isn't limited to just clothing.

For me, it has to be internet lingo. I've noticed a lot of young people will purposely misspell words for the sake of sounding cool. For example, instead of "school" they write "skool". Also, they'll change the "s" at the end of plural words to a "z" (boyz, gurlz, etc...).

Does anyone else think that this generation of young people has come up with the stupidest, most tasteless fads every conceivable?

i have to agree with you i had the misspell fad too, even worse is when people purpose misspell all words not just the z's and stuff like that but totally misspell entire words on purpose.

Early 90s revival. Those clothes bring back memories and those memories are very painful for me.

YMMV on this, people, but Twilight and the Fifty Shades series put me off. And now I can feel some flak catching on me from fans of those series.....

A teenaged girl wants to sleep with a dead guy, and spend eternity living HIS life?

A woman submits to a man who deliberately hurts her.
Then decides she loves him.

Dear equestriatola, I quite see your point!

Why is pop music so bad these days? Of course, YMMV on that, too.

Those are fads now? I've been using a wireless mouse for years.

I don't have any button fly jeans any more but at one time one of my favorite pairs was button fly but I got too fat to fit in them.

1. Bad reality shows (some of them are actually fairly decent and include ones that show competition and people who actually have a talent in something).
2. Over the top movies (movies seem to get more over the top and overly silly all the time or maybe its just me).
3. All the magazines at the check out line have movie stars on the cover with babies or guess who just got married or guess who dumped who).
4. Energy drinks (ones with extra caffeine, sugar and herbal supplements)

I'm getting a feeling that people are just trying to be nostalgic on this thread.
