*sigh* If you don't like your fat, exercise! Use heavier weights... the ones you're using aren't going to do sh**. And no... heavier weights aren't going to make you look like a body builder.

That's me now on the lower half  It's the upper that constantly presents a problem :? I am not distributed nicely. The part that depresses me is that I was 92lbs / 5'2 at 13 years old, and now I weigh significantly more and... no taller.
:( it seems that any significant weight lifting I do puts such a strain on my feet that it's too painful to continue. But I just got new shoes so hopefully they do fit with my orthotics for a permanent good and not just hey-these-feel-great-in-the-store good.

Golly we're off topic :D

Just a little. I mean, nudity is part of the topic and it has to do with our bodies so it's still kinda on topic. XD

I just do more repetitions with the weights that I have. I don't have a lot of upper body strength either. They're kettle bells so the weight distribution is good for toning and stuff. Any exercise is good for me at this point. I'm sweating heavily at the end of my workouts so I'm burning off some calories right?

I'm sorry. :(

Kilroy - Lol Richard Simmons. I'm not a fan of him though. Good on him for maintaining good shape for his age though. :)

Exercise is great! I will get into it more when school starts, again.
For burning fat, your best bet is to do cardio. Do you have a treadmill? Or can you jog around where you live? Running, or bicycling, or swimming are the best for losing fat.
With weights if you don't do it absolutely right, you might end up looking chunkier– because you'll be building muscles underneath the fat.

I'm all for that

God one time I was in weight lifting and I got accused of having a hard on. Like no people if it was that it would be poking out of my gym shorts

Thankfully that ended pretty fast. The only other time I've been accused of having a hard on it became OMFG MAJOR GOSSIP! I even got to watch the guy tell a girl I liked that I must be gay for him cause I got hard at his pool party.

Lol, no thanks. XD

Spazzergasm - I have been using the exercise bike too. When I go back to school, I'll have to make use of their gym if I have time. Either that or just run around campus a bit. I'm walking all day anyway to get to my classes on time. My one friend wants to use the pool so I'm packing my swimsuit too. :D

Certainly! As long as you're using it enough to break a sweat and challenge yourself.

Rah! It only works when it won't strain my feet, which is surprisingly often. Surgery is a two year wait though. Come to think of it, when I had to bike to school everyday I was looking pretty hot...

This is all very good. Try and get at least 30 minutes of workout a day. It's ok if it's 10 minutes three times, or twice for 15 minutes, or one solid session.
Oh, and don't use your weights daily, use them every other day.

I obsessed over fitness and dieting for a while, so I know a bit.
