why should rural montanans have more say than urban folk just because they live where they do?

Gerrymandering. It undermines the intention of truly democratic elections.

Cameras for personal computing devices.
It destroyed the notion that privacy is sacrosanct.

Perhaps Religiosity rather than religion per se.

Being a good person isn't what church you go to, how often, speaking in tongues, picking up snakes, regarding atheists and other religions as heathens, bragging about your faith, demeaning other faiths, parading your religiosity on tv as a get rich quick con, preaching what you don't practice, claiming that Donald Trump is the personal appointee of a Christian God, and all the other claptrap, praying for self benefit and spreading intolerance, men dressing up in skirts waving incense around, covering up the crimes of paedophiles hiding under the mantle of holiness...

Being a good person is how you live you life and treat others, regardless of your chosen religion or theirs, and you don't need any formal religion to live with respect for the world, other people, nature and decent behaviour. Religiosity is the running sore on the backside of religious belief systems.

^ I agree. Religion itself is not a bad thing, it's the crazy fanatics and the corrupt people who manipulate it for selfish reasons who are bad.

Every religion started off with good intentions.

I don't even see the point in me voting when I know that my entire state is always going to support the guy who I don't like.

I mean that right there should clue me in that my vote really doesn't matter in this country. :|

voting is speech directed at power. if you give up your right to free speech you might as well dig a hole in the ground and crawl in. this person will NEVER give up their right to talk back to power.
